A recognition
This weekend I took part in a season-ending ceremony/party of the Kalev chamber choir. I’ve sang there nor for three years and this was my last event with the choir for at least the next coming three years. The event took place in a little town called Haapsalu, where our conductor (Erki) has a huge house with a lovely garden. I have visited Haapsalu during the last summers to help Erki out in construction works and just take the time off there.
At every season-ending event, there are different nominations given out, like the best newcomer, the best vocal group, the best "summer rabbit", the kindest singer, the best choir president, the best etc of the year. This year, the altos gave out their own special prizes/nominations - and I got the title of the honorary alto for helping them out in producing small books that were made for the choir’s trip to Belarus, Ukraine and Moldova.
And then we simply partied there - I have to say, this was one of the wildest parties that I’d been to. Probably, this was the wildest ever. And I enjoyed every bit of that.
