Potato O R G Y

When I was in Spain this summer with Kalev choir, I definitely got an overdose of potatos - for the most of the time we were accommodated by local families who served us every single day some dishes with potatos. So, after the trip a good friend Marke had an idea - to organise a potato party. Well, time passed and there was no party… until Marke had a birthday - so, she invited everybody to her place with one condition - that all the guests had to prepare a dish with potatos - and somehow I got a task to prepare a dessert. I never thought that one can do that, but it was quite a nice challenge and I accepted to face it. The result can be seen on this picture - cakes in the oven. It turned out quite well and I had to convince many people that I did use real potatos as ingridients.

This party had one small problem - there were too many guests. Well, the people weren’t a problem, but the quantity of the food that all the guests had prepared or just bought. Here are Tolik and Helen preparing their dishes in Marke’s kitchen - spicy balls and potato horns. And that’s how a ball is prepared for filling. Fortunatelly, everything wasn’t potato - we did eat also something else like mushrooms. While we were cooking, there was a whole team of entertainers who helped us to keep our motivation nicely high emoticon - there were Liivi, birthdaygirl Marke and a lot of potatos. The working process was at some moments far from pleasant - that’s what they made the horns of.

And when the food was ready, we tried our best to eat all of it. Well, despite the great help from Peko, we obviously did manage to consume all of it. Here are also Eva and her boyfriend in normal condition and then … with Anneli. This party tought me one great thing - DO NOT EAT TOO MANY POTATOS and drink at the same time emoticon.
