In Brussels… again!
After my long vacation I had a chance to work only for two weeks until my first post-vacation-business-trip. Of course, to Brussels. Right now it’s 11.30 PM and we (me and 60 other people) just got back from an official dinner that was held in a chateau Val Duchesse, which belongs to the Belgium’s Minsitry of Foreign Affairs and is usually used to receive all sorts of VIPs - heads of governments or states, for example. Though, in reality it’s nothing to brag about, here’s one photo of the house (- I got the photo from the net :)
I almost forgot one aspect about coming to Brussels - when you take a flight from Tallinn to Helsinki, where you have only 30 minutes until the Brussels’ flight, the chances that your luggage will not arrive Brusssels in time are quite high. Guess what happened to me and one Estonian colleague, who travelled with me? We got our luggage the next day.
And another thing - I wrote that I was with another 60 people, including one Estonian colleague - the last name of this female colleague is Seppet. We have already started to count, how many people would come to us and ask, if we were related (meaning married) as in some countries (especially in Russia), woman’s surname ends always with -aya. Sepp and Seppet with an -et-ending has been an obvious example of this custom :D
